Machine quilting with a home sewing machine is what are frames are designed to help you accomplish. Previously known as Ken Lund quilt frame project the quilt frames now produced are available by ALKI composites. The frames are a continuation of the original purpose of his project to make affordable quilt frames from both new and recycled materials so as to assist other quilters to machine quilt their projects.
We offer two distinctly different types of frames.With the Artisan frame (kit #1)
the quilt is mounted to the frame and moves around the sewing machine.
The sewing machine remains stationary.

Our other frames are 4 roll setups where the quilt layers are mounted to the
4 rolls and the sewing machine travels side to side on 2 carriages.
Some refer to this type of frame as a pantograph type frame.

of the frames. Please note:the videos are not the exact frames as we
